Sweet Cider Butter

Ingredients: 

3/4 cup apple cider
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon all spice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
1/2 pound Plugrá® European-Style Butter, salted, softened

Directions: 

1. In a small saucepan, bring cider, sugar, allspice, cinnamon, clove and orange zest to a boil over medium-high heat. Continue cooking for 10-15 minutes or until liquid is reduced by half, then remove from heat and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
2. Whip Plugrá Butter until smooth and light.
3. Blend Plugrá Butter and cider reduction until well combined.
4. Place flavored butter mixture into two ramekin-style dishes and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
