Pesto Cheese Sticks

Ingredients: 

Pesto Plugrá Butter
1/2 cup Plugrá® European-Style Butter, unsalted, melted
1/4 cup pine nut
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup Pecorino Romano or Lucattele or Parmesan Cheese
3 cloves garlic
1 cup basil
1/4 cup white wine

Bread Sticks
2 6 inch x 8 inch puff pastry sheets

Directions: 

Pesto Plugrá Butter
1. Place all ingredients in food processor or blender. Hold in reserve.

Pastry Sticks
1. Prepare puff pastry dough or use store bought. Cut into1/4 inch x 6 inch strips.
2. Brush with Pesto Plugrá Butter.
3. Twist into straws and chill 20 minutes. Place on baking sheet trays.
4. Preheat oven to 425°F. Bake until golden brown.
5. Serve hot or at room temperature.
