Pan Roasted Filet Mignon

4 servings Ingredients:
4 8-ounce filet mignons
2 tablespoons Plugrá® ClarifiedButter
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoons shallot, minced
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 cup red wine
3 tablespoons Plugrá European-Style Butter, unsalted
Salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Place a saute pan on medium-high heat.
2. Pour in clarified Plugrá Butter.
3. Season filets with salt and pepper and place in hot oil.
4. Saute the filet mignons for 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from pan.
5. Saute shallots and garlic for 30 seconds. Add red wine and simmer for 1 minute. Whisk in the Plugrá Butter and add Thyme.
6. Place the filets on a plate and pour the sauce over top.
