Fiery Maple Pecan Butter Sauce

Ingredients: 

1/4 cup Plugrá® European-Style Butter, unsalted
2 tablespoons onion, minced
1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper, crushed
1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon maple extract

Directions: 

1. In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the Plugrá Butter.
2. Add the onion, garlic and red pepper and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until onion is softened, stirring often.
3. Add the remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly. Remove from heat and serve over pork, beef or seafood.
