Coffee Seared New York Strip Steak

Ingredients: 

5 tablespoons ground coffee
4 tablespoons flour
Salt and black pepper, to taste
5 tablespoons olive oil
2 8-ounce prime New York strip steaks

Directions: 

1. Combine coffee and flour in a small bowl and dust steak with mixture.
2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Heat a 10-inch saute pan and add oil.
4. Add steaks and cook for 3 minutes on each side on high heat.

To Serve: Top the seared steak with the prepared Guava Herb Butter Sauce
